Adam's Apple Tree Nursery

About the Nursery

Sometime around 1990, my father, John, purchased 10 raw acres of land south of Spokane, WA and began planting apple trees. He likes to joke that there was no "tree planters anonymous" so before too long, his orchard ballooned to include around 500 apple trees. The orchard eventually came to be known as Sherman Valley Farm and is a community favorite for U-pick apples, outdoor events, and fresh cider.

In 2020, I moved back to Spokane after working in the wholesale nursery industry (and art school) and started grafting and propagating apple trees. Now in my third year of production, the nursery offers over 30 varieties of apples grafted to hardy rootstock. The nursery also offers an assortment of young shade trees, flowering shrubs, rooted cuttings, and seedlings.
